Holding a Master in Business Administration, with specialization in Financial Management, from the University of Mauritius, Roomesh presently serves as Treasurer on the FMCI Managing Committee. In his professional portfolio, he has more than 10 years of experience within the Revenue Authority and has extensive experience in the Mauritian taxation system. This is majorly due to multiple positions held with progressive responsibilities for more than 6 years within Mazars Mauritius. He also manages to be the treasurer of the International Fiscal Association of the Mauritius Branch. He envisioned putting his skills and experience at the service of a significant cause that would help improve the life of his compatriots. The health struggles of Mauritius being particularly meaningful to him, Roomesh found a way to bring his contribution to cancer care through FMCI.
